Sand Stack Paradox…

Euplides claimed that a “sand heap” could never be created. Because a grain of sand is not a “heap”. If we put another one next to it, there will be no heap again. Since we can’t get a heap by placing a grain of sand next to (or on) something that is not a “sand pile”, we can never create a “sand pile”.

To put it more clearly: Let’s face it, let’s put the grains of sand together one by one. After what stage does the sand form a “clump”? Let’s say ‘one million’ grains of sand form a pile. Nine hundred ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine grains of sand will not be considered “heap of sand”? If we accept a quantity as a heaps of sand, wouldn’t a minus of this amount also be a heap of sand? So what stage means “stack” to us?
