The shallots that develop in an average of 4-6 months are left on the ground for 5-10 days after they are removed from the soil. Thus, they dry in the sun and spend the winter in storage. When planting, they are planted in the field in the spring by determining 20-30 cm distance between the rows and 5 cm distance between the seeds on row.
